Rack steering cables incorporate a rack gear assembly which drives an armour standard core to minimise steering effort.
Stainless steel cable output end minimises corrosion.
Convenient 7/8" tilt tube mount nut as per ABYC/NMMA/BIA standards.
They fit directly to all 1997 & On Rack mechanical helms, BLA code 280346, 280348, 280370 and 280372.

N.B. Not compatible as a replacement cable for SSC124
Cable length is measured from centre of rack to nut, plus 450mm. Y + 450mm = cable length.
How to Measure Length of Cables
Measure A, centre of wheel to gunwale, plus B, dash to transom, plus C, gunwale to centre of transom. Cable length for transom, stringer and splashwell mount = A + B + C minus 150mm. Cable length for tilt tube mount = A + B + C plus 150mm. |
